From the gritty streets of inner-city Atlanta to the vibrant heart of Kingston, my journey has been a testament to the transformative impact of belief and opportunity. Hailing from a world marked by homelessness and poverty, I was fortunate enough to have a loving family and a community that nurtured my potential. A chance encounter with aerial dance ignited a spark within me, leading to a whirlwind of experiences that shaped my purpose.

At sixteen, I managed my first non-profit program, teaching aerial arts to international refugee children. It was there that I discovered the profound power of community. Music became another avenue for expression, and I found myself leading a jazz band while simultaneously spearheading a campaign to provide blankets for the homeless. These experiences were more than just accomplishments; they were stepping stones to a larger mission.

I’ve had the privilege of learning from extraordinary mentors, attending prestigious institutions, and leading impactful projects. Yet, the most fulfilling work has been ensuring every young person has a community around them to nurture and nourish them. THRIVE ON! is more than just an organization; it’s a beacon of hope for young people who yearn to create positive change.
